December 5th Ronnie Simpson, followed by a Christmas social event & Bird and Equipment Auction. The birds and equipment have been kindly donated by a number of members plus The Feed Warehouse.

Additionally, we will again be holding a meeting in Carlisle for the benefit of our Cumbrian members. This meeting will be held in the Belah, Carlisle, Community Centre, probably in April, starting at 2:30pm

AVIARY VISITS
Our newly acquired Social Secretary, Adrian Richards, had also been extremely active in recent weeks and has compiled a mouth-watering list of events to attract even the most sluggish among us. These comprise a series of aviary visits both within and outside our area, and are as follows :-
Thursday, April 28th Aviary visit to Ken Tart and Frank Thomas, Stockton on Tees. Tea & biscuits provided
Thursday May 26th Aviary visit to KEITH ALLISON, Peterlee. Tea & biscuits provided
Thursday June 23rd Aviary visit and Barbeque, at LEE PENNICK, Seaton Carew (if you are attending the barbeque please tell Adrian or Lee)
Thursday July 21st Aviary visit to CHARLIE & MARGARET BOWMAN, Dunston, Gateshead. Tea & biscuits provided
Please use your own (or someone else’s) car and all meet at their Aviary at 6pm, no earlier please!
COACH TRIP 2011
Adrian has also arranged a Coach Trip and Aviary visit on Sunday June 12th 2011 to Stoke on Trent visiting the aviaries of Chris Huxley , Alan Marchant and Wayne, Richard & John Bowker. The cost of the trip is £20. Cheques should be made payable to the NBS or cash payment to Adrian Richards. Reserve your seat NOW on a first come first served basis only. The first pick up point is Bowburn community centre at 7am prompt, then Ferryhill, Chilton and Aycliffe village.
